Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q

I’ve been to Rudy's Country Store and Bar-B-Q multiple times, and every single time I end up getting the brisket. It’s just *that* good. Honestly, I probably need to branch out more because I’ve barely gotten to try the rest of the menu. My boyfriend usually orders the turkey sandwich, and although I’m not normally a big turkey person, I tried it and was surprised by how good it was. It was really moist, flavorful, and far from dry. The last thing I tried was their baked potato loaded with two meats — obviously brisket twice — and it was amazing. Definitely one of the best comfort meals I’ve had. I genuinely love this place. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are great, and the whole restaurant has a vibe of its own. If you get the chance to visit, you absolutely should.

Rudy’s is an amazing spot with delicious food. The restaurant is clean, comfortable. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and well‑seasoned. Highly recommended!

I don't know how Rudy's fell so far in value and quality but it sits fairly near the bottom of BBQ places you could choose from in the area. On this (hopefully my last) visit I ordered baby back ribs and creamed corn. The $15 for three ribs were served cooler than room temperature and the corn (traditionally the highlight) was far off the mark and tastes old and improperly cooked. There are plenty of mediocre BBQ places near here and any of them would be a better choice.

Rudy's is amazing. Good food, good BBQ. I had no wait and went straight to the food! I always get the moist and I can't help but get the banana pudding! The parking lot had plenty of spaces and their restrooms were clean. I love the sweet tea and all the sauces. Overall this is the usual Rudy's with a fast line and good Texas style food.

Omg - what an amazing place! The dinner was amazing. The brisket tender, the chicken moist, and the pork was grilled just perfect. Lots of jalapeño on the side, the coleslaw added the right touch. Rudy’s sauce is just the right blend of sweet and tangy, not too hot. Excellent service staff.
