So I had the pleasure of eating here this afternoon and it was...AMAZING! Luz helped us out making a good choice and she wasnt wrong. Smokey beans, you can tell they are fresh. The habanero sauce tops it. The enchiladas have an amazing lime flavor and the chicken is so tender. The pic is Enchiladas Daniel...I opted for the habanero on the side. I ate everything! Muchas gracias Luz!!

As I'm visiting Katy for work, I looked up a Mexican restaurant nearby so I could eat and head back to San Antonio. I have to tell you that I'm so glad I stopped in. I was welcomed in and sat by the owner himself. Immediately, I was given chips, salsa, and my side of butter! I glanced at the menu and saw what I thought would be good but turned out to be great. The turn around to get the food was served in a very timely fashion. It didn't last long as it was so good! There are a lot of different food options on the menu that sounded great, so I'm going to have to return soon. Restaurant is very presentable with clean restrooms, which is always a huge bonus for me. Thank you, Jose, for a wonderful experience at your establishment. Thank you also for a great conversation. I'll see you soon. Until then, Thanks!

The first time here for me and the wife. It didn't look like much from the outside but the inside is really nice, and not over done like some places. The owner met us as we came in and waited on us the whole time. So of course service was great and he is very friendly. The food was very good, I like queso with peppers, tomatoes, onions and cilantro so it was kind of boring with just cheese. The salsa was fresh and good and the chips as well. The only thing I didn't love was the enchilada gravy, the flavor was good but it wasn't thick at all. Next time we will be trying the fajitas and dessert 😁

We are new to the area and have been looking for a great Tex Mex/Mexican restaurant. This isn't it. It's ok food. I had ground beef enchiladas and they were very bland. The hot sauce had way to much Mexican oregano . I had MAYBE ¼ cup of beans and the same with the rice on the huge plate. If you are going to have small servings ya probably do not need to serve it on a plate as big as a hub cap. The chips were great though. There are too many options around. We will not be back. One bright side... the waitress was super nice.

It was our first time here. The food was good but extremely over priced compared to other Mexican restaurants with a similar vibe and menu. My husband and I had a small portion of carne asada, 2 cheese enchiladas with rice and beans for $30.00 a plate. Tortillas didn't come with it. There was only one other table there. Other than that the place was empty. Its possible the prices are what keep people away. Sundays are when most restaurants are packed, so that was surprising. It was good but not $30.00 a plate good. We won't be back.
